Job summary

Analog Devices is seeking an Embedded AI Tools Engineer in Wilmington, MA to design and implement deployment infrastructure for AI on edge SoCs. You will work with DSPs, NPUs, and CPUs to enable end-to-end model development, optimization, and production on resource-constrained devices.

You will contribute to technology that pushes the boundaries of embedded AI, leveraging TensorFlow, PyTorch, and optimization toolchains while collaborating with a diverse AI tooling team.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded systems and computer architecture experience.
• End-to-end AI/ML model development, from training through deployment on embedded platforms.
• Hardware-aware neural architecture design and optimization for specific processors.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python; firmware and low-level software development.
• Deep understanding of neural network quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation for resource-constrained devices.
• Familiarity with NPUs, DSPs and heterogeneous hardware for AI inference.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch and deployment tools like TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, TVM.
• Experience with build systems (CMake, Make, Ninja) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI model deployment tools and infrastructure for heterogeneous DSPs, NPUs, and CPUs.
• Create end-to-end workflows from model development to production on embedded platforms.
• Develop hardware-aware model design and mapping techniques for embedded SoCs.
• Build model compilation and optimization pipelines supporting quantization, pruning, and layer fusion.
