Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Technician (2nd Shift) in Buffalo, NY to support the Amherst Systems group. You will test RF and digital components, troubleshoot under a microscope, and collaborate with engineers to refine procedures. A strong electronics background and the ability to read detailed drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics knowledge gained through schooling, the military or work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow procedures and drawings.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF Microelectronic, RF amplifiers, switches, mixers, etc.
• Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards.
• Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in products and integrated test systems.
• Diagnose non-conformances using schematics, wiring diagrams, source control drawings and other test procedures and equipment.
• Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope.
• Record production data accurately in travelers, shop floor systems, and quality records.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to assist in the writing or modification of test procedures.
