Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a Process Engineer to advance manufacturing and inspection processes for RF and high-reliability assemblies at our Fairview, PA facility. You will collaborate across Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to ensure safety, quality and efficiency while supporting new products and process transfers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in process or manufacturing engineering, experience with AS9100 and high-reliability environments, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with electronics, RF or microwave products and high-reliability environments.
• Experience with AS9100 and military specifications or customer requirements.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, BOMs and process documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Minitab; familiarity with lean/six sigma concepts.
• U.S. citizenship required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and improve manufacturing and inspection processes for RF and high-reliability assemblies.
• Provide on-site manufacturing support and establish process controls using SPC.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions and transfers through readiness assessments and pilot builds.
• Maintain controlled manufacturing documentation and training for operators.
