An exciting opportunity exists for an RF Electrical Test Engineer I – 4th Shift to join our engineering test team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Oversee measurements on GaAs and GaN devices and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) in a production environment
Setup electrical test systems
Utilize software to control test equipment and upload test results
Validate test systems setups, review, and accept compliant device data
Support the wafer foundry and MMIC design teams

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and Experience with RF/Microwave electrical measurements. (In absence of a degree, 5 years of prior related work experience is required).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components
Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
