Job summary

Saronic Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician - RF to support assembly, test, and integration of RF systems across lab, field, and end-platform deployments.

You will work closely with RF engineers, operate spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and power meters, follow detailed test procedures, document results, and help ensure calibration-status compliant measurements.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF systems, electronics, or RF test equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed test procedures with accuracy.
• Strong measurement recording and documentation.
• Clear communication of results to engineers.
• Willingness to travel for field testing.
• Laboratory, production, field and outdoor environments comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Support RF system end-to-end testing, validation, and verification.
• Execute RF test procedures accurately and repeatably.
• Collect and communicate test results and status updates.
• Operate RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and VNAs.
• Set up RF test configurations and hardware.
• Assist calibration activities and ensure equipment is calibrated.
• Assist with measurement accuracy and uncertainty considerations.
• Support outdoor and field testing and installations.
• Follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
