Job summary

The Electrical Engineering Technician - RF at Saronic Technologies is a hands-on role supporting assembly, test, and verification of RF systems across lab, field, and end-platform applications. You will work with RF engineers, operate spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and power meters, and ensure calibration status while documenting results and communicating findings to the team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF experience with RF systems or related equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed RF test procedures with accuracy.
• Strong documentation of measurements and test results.
• Good verbal communication and escalation when issues arise.
• Willingness to travel for field testing and installations.

Responsibilities

• Work with RF engineers on end-to-end testing, validation, and verification.
• Execute RF test procedures accurately and repeatably.
• Record RF test results and communicate status to the team.
• Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and meters.
• Set up, verify, and troubleshoot RF configurations and cabling.
• Support calibration activities and ensure equipment remains in calibration.
• Assist with measurement accuracy and basic uncertainty considerations.
• Assist with RF cable routing, connector inspection, and weatherproofing.
• Support outdoor and field testing across multiple platforms.
