Job summary

Saronic Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician - RF to support assembly, installation, test, troubleshooting, validation and verification of RF systems. You will work with RF engineers to build and test RF testbeds and ensure correct installation across lab, field, outdoor, and end-platform applications.

The ideal candidate follows detailed test procedures, operates RF test equipment fluently, and communicates results clearly.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with RF systems, electronics, or RF test equipment.
Ability to follow and execute detailed test procedures with attention to detail.
Ability to collect reliable measurements and document results accurately.
Strong communication skills and ability to raise issues clearly.
Willingness to travel for field testing and installations.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Support RF system end-to-end testing, validation and verification.
Execute detailed RF test procedures accurately and repeatedly.
Collect, record, and communicate RF test results and observations.
Operate RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, VNAs, meters, and probes.
Set up and troubleshoot RF configurations, cables, and antennas.
Assist with calibration activities and ensure equipment is within calibration status.
Support field testing and installations on various end platforms.
