Job summary

RTX is seeking an RF Electrical Engineer for the El Segundo, CA team within the Airborne Radar Electronics Receiver / Exciter Hardware Design Group. You will perform circuit analysis, simulation, and testing of microwave RF circuits and assemblies, collaborating with technicians and other engineers to resolve hardware issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and RF/microwave coursework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field is required.
• Courses include RF and Microwave Circuit Design.

Responsibilities

• Circuit analysis, simulation, design, documentation, and trade assessments for obsolescence resolution.
• Develop and test Special Test Equipment (STE) hardware and software as part of a team.
• Test Microwave RF circuits, RFAs, MICs, IMAs, CCAs, and provide production support.
• Analyze hardware specifications to determine requirements and develop test solutions.
