Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Austin, TX seeks a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF & DSP. You will own strategy, roadmap, definition, and lifecycle for RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions, translating technical concepts into market-led products.

A strong engineering background is essential to guide opportunities from concept through launch. You will partner with engineering to differentiate products, develop business cases, and drive profitability while engaging customers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years experience in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded tech.
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems, and DSP.
• Knowledge of RF-to-digital signal chain including RF front ends, DAC/ADC, FPGA processing, and DSP.
• Ability to translate concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Experience with embedded electronics or firmware development.
• Excellent communication with engineering, sales, customers, suppliers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain strategy for RF/DSP/FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on needs, trends, competition and goals.
• Translate system requirements into compelling product strategies and specs.
• Build business cases and present recommendations to executives.
• Lead concept definition and support NPI from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and architectural options.
• Partner with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Work with sales and customers to identify market opportunities.
• Participate in customer discussions and provide technical support.
