Job summary

GStek, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (I, II, III) to join a lead test facility focused on designing, integrating, and installing RF data acquisition test systems. The role offers growth as part of a dedicated design and integration team with opportunities to advance, and compensation is commensurate with experience, training, and education.

Required are U.S. citizenship with security clearance eligibility, a BS in engineering or a technical field, 4+ years of software development, and

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen eligible for government security clearance.
Valid U.S. Passport.
Able to travel periodically across the U.S. and overseas.
BS degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Programming experience in C, C++, and Java.
Experience in instrumentation control, automated data acquisition, or DSP.
Experience designing system architecture.
Proficiency in high-level technical decision making.

Responsibilities

Writing code, developing software components, and performing feature integration.
Manage existing codebase.
Transform technical requirements into code.
Document software requirements and design specifications.
Provide RF testing including antenna radiation patterns, communication systems, Data Links, EW, Radio Direction Finding systems and radars.
Provide support to fleet forces at U.S. homeports and mobile test platforms.
