Job summary

TSC is seeking a highly motivated Electronics Technician to support our customer in Washington, DC. This hands‑on role requires a strong background in communications equipment, RF technology and electronics, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams onsite.

The successful candidate will assemble, test, troubleshoot, integrate, and maintain advanced communication systems across multiple locations, documenting outcomes and ensuring standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience and 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and testing electronics and systems.
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
• Experience with technical requirements and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with customers and peers.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high‑stress, high‑speed environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembly & Maintenance: Assemble and configure electronics and communications systems per specifications; perform routine maintenance and upgrades on equipment and antennas; create and maintain detailed system documentation.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Execute test plans for RF and electronic systems; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; document results and corrective actions.
• Integration Support: Assist in integrating new systems and components into existing infrastructure; perform routine maintenance on communications equipment and antenna systems.
• Customer & Team Interaction: Collaborate with customers and multi‑disciplinary teams; communicate project status and technical information to peers and leadership.
