Job summary

Technology-Service-Corporation in Washington, DC seeks an Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in communications equipment and RF technology. You will assemble, test, troubleshoot and maintain advanced systems, working with a multidisciplinary team on-site at customer locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, and an active DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience with 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and testing electronics and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure electronics and communications systems according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on equipment and antennas.
• Test plans and procedures for RF and electronic systems; troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Job description

TSC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electronics Technician to support our customer in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technician with a strong background in communications equipment, RF technology and electronics. This candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivated, able to work collaboratively with others but also with general/minimal guidance and oversight at times. The technician must have a strong background in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, integration, and maintenance of advanced communication systems. You will have the opportunity to work onsite alongside other technicians, engineers and professionals at various customer locations, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced and challenging environment.You will have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, tools and technologies to support both legacy and new communications systems across many areas of support, to include the following:Assembly & Maintenance: Assemble and configure electronics and communications systems according to specifications, Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on equipment and antennas, Create and maintain detailed documentation for all work to systems.Testing & Troubleshooting: Execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for RF and electronic systems, Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, often in urgent and high-priority scenarios.
