Actalent is seeking a DOD RF Test Technician to fabricate, test, and troubleshoot advanced RF and power systems for defense applications. You will conduct acceptance tests, calibrate equipment, and document results to support mission-critical platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF/test equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and block diagrams. A DoD clearance and Maryland-based facility work are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a recent investigation (within 5 years).
• 6+ years of experience in fabrication and test of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
• Experience applying electronics principles to test and troubleshooting activities.
• Hands-on experience with electronic and electrical test equipment in production, manufacturing, or lab settings.
• Ability to select, set up, calibrate, and operate complex test equipment and facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for systems, devices, processes, and test setups.

Responsabilités

• Apply electronics principles in fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
• Perform acceptance tests to verify equipment functionality and ensure performance.
• Monitor and measure electrical performance on complex systems.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate complex test equipment and facilities.
• Verify product configuration, test processes, and equipment calibrations.
• Record data, analyze results, and prepare test reports.
• Program and verify devices to ensure proper functionality and compliance with test requirements.
• Troubleshoot systems and test setups to locate and repair defects.
• Assist engineers in developing designs and test methods for product validation.
• Work from diagrams, outlines, schematics, and oral instructions to perform calculations and compare data.
• Develop and test highly complex components and systems.
