Job summary

MPG in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Drafter-CAD Operator to create RF product designs using CAD tools, generate assemblies, schematics, and BOMs for machine parts. You will draft 2D layouts and PCB schematics, while ensuring GD&T and ASME standards are applied across drawings.

You will input BOM data into ERP, collaborate with customers and outside vendors, and support design validation to meet project requirements. Onsite work arrangement in Salisbury, MD is required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic to statistical mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and Inventor 3D modeling; PCB layout software helpful.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5M and fastener standards familiarity.
• 2-year technical schooling in drafting/math or related associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Create new and revised RF product designs using CAD into assemblies and drawings.
• Prepare PCB schematics/layouts and BOM input in ERP system.
• Analyze design problems and discuss with customers/vendors to ensure requirements are met.
