Job summary

MPG is seeking an experienced Senior RF/Microwave Engineer for its Salisbury, MD operation. The role focuses on designing microwave filters to meet customer specifications, evaluating RFQs, and collaborating with sales and manufacturing to ensure successful delivery.

The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with RF/Microwave focus or equivalent experience, plus strong testing and drawing interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 8 years RF/Microwave design experience.
• Strong understanding of calculus, algebra and statistics.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• English and Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs microwave filters that meet customer specifications.
• Evaluates RFQs and interfaces with sales feasibility and pricing.
• Participates in onsite visits and product discussions with customers, including travel to overseas facilities.
• Analyzes filter response using RF design software.
• Supports manufacturing in resolving engineering issues.
• Oversees prototyping of filters and checks prints and BOM.
• Reads drawings and customer specifications.
• Researches and develops special projects for customers.
