Job summary

SAIC in North Charleston, SC is seeking multiple levels of Cable Fabrication Technicians to support USMC projects. You will read and interpret drawings, schematics, and cable run sheets to assemble cables.

Responsibilities include assembling cables and harnesses, using crimp tools and heat guns, testing with TMDE, and maintaining inventory. A High School diploma and electronics training plus four years' experience and US citizenship with ability to obtain a public trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with electronics training.
• Four years of electronics repair, maintenance and checkout experience.
• US citizen able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable fabrication work for government projects.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and cable run sheets to verify builds.
• Assemble cables, harnesses and RF assemblies per specs.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and test cables using TMDE.
• Keep accurate inventories of tools and materials.
