Job summary

Prattwhitney in McKinney, Texas, is seeking an engineer to design, develop, and deploy RF passive circuits and EM models onsite. You will work within the Airborne Antenna Design group to implement robust engineering solutions.

Qualified candidates typically hold a STEM bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in passive circuit design and EM modeling, and familiarity with HFSS/ADS/Matlab/AutoCAD is preferred. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree and a minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience.
• Experience in passive circuit design and / or EM modeling.
• Experience with test equipment including Antenna Ranges, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and / or Power Meters.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RF passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and EM modeling.
• Implement best practice standards for RF passive circuit design and EM modeling with disciplined engineering processes.
• Follow procedures and work with program leadership to meet design objectives.
• Develop technical solutions to a range of complex problems.
• Travel may be periodically required.
