Job summary

ams OSRAM in Plano, TX seeks an experienced RF/analog IC designer to strengthen RF immunity of optical sensor products. You will design high-sensitivity analog circuits, perform SPICE simulations, and lead layout decisions with the physical design team.

The role requires PhD with 5+ years or Master's with 7 years, plus leadership experience. You will use Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HFSS/CST, and perform Monte Carlo and PVT analyses while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with 5+ years RF/mixed-signal design experience, or Master's with 7+ years, 5+ lead years.
• Experience to include (with PhD degree or Master's degree) in RF circuit and analog/mixed-signal design.

Responsibilities

• Analog IC design including amplifiers, filters, buffers, ADCs, current sources, bandgap references, LDOs, oscillators, and ESD structures.
• HFSS or CST modeling for IC components and packages; S-parameter extraction; impedance matching devices.
• RF circuit design and analysis: LNA, mixer, PA, PGA.
• IC bench testing with oscilloscope, multimeter, signal source, spectrum analyzer.
