Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Austin, TX, to develop RF and mixed-signal front-end architectures for rugged embedded computing used in aerospace and defense. You will collaborate with FPGA, PCB, and software teams to deliver high-performance RF solutions for demanding environments.

The role spans concept through validation and production, focusing on low-noise power architectures, clocking systems, and high-speed interfaces to FPGA processing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains.
• Experience from system architecture through production.
• Strong RF design theory including filter design and impedance matching.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI, Analog Devices.

Responsibilities

• Design RF front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing products.
• Develop RF signal paths and low-noise analog circuitry.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB layout, embedded software, and systems teams.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept to production and validation.
• Address signal integrity issues and contribute to architecture decisions.
