Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to advance rugged embedded RF/mixed-signal hardware for defense and aerospace. You’ll design RF front-ends, low-noise analog blocks, clocks, and power architectures while collaborating with FPGA, PCB, and software teams.

The role spans concept to production, enabling architecture decisions, solving signal integrity challenges, and delivering next-generation RF/Mixed-Signal platforms for demanding mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Expertise designing complete RF and mixed-signal signal chains.
• Experience moving RF hardware from architecture to production.
• Strong RF design theory knowledge: filtering, impedance, noise, shielding.
• Experience selecting/high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI, Analog Devices, or similar.
• Designs RF circuits up to 18 GHz.
• Understanding digital interfaces to FPGA-based processing.
• Experience with clock generation and distribution for multiple sampling rates.
• Design low-noise power supplies for high-performance RF/mixed-signal systems.
• Hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design RF signal paths and low-noise analog circuitry for high-performance embedded computing.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems engineers.
• Lead complete product lifecycle from concept to production and validation.
• Address signal integrity issues and influence architecture decisions.
