Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Machine Operator to join our converting team in a stable, long-term role. You will operate machinery, perform quality checks, and prepare products for shipping while following standard methods and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, SAP experience, strong time management, and ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with growth potential in a multinational group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and meet production targets.
• Ability to operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and computer software to produce finished products.
• Perform hourly quality checks and submit daily QA reports.
• Operate hoist and pallet jack for loading rolls into brackets.
• Program and monitor computerized operating panels and set up cores/rolls.
• Package products using poly or paper wrap according to production needs.
• Initiate setup, operation, and adjustments to achieve production quotas.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and changeovers with RCO techs.
• Communicate with quality, maintenance and supervision regularly.
