Conrad Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Revit Technician to support our structural engineering team in developing accurate, coordinated building models and construction documents. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Revit Technician to support our structural engineering team in developing accurate, coordinated building models and construction documents. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autodesk Revit, structural drafting, and building design, with the ability to translate engineering concepts and markups into clear, high-quality drawings.

This role will work closely with structural engineers, project managers, architects, and other design professionals to support projects from initial design through construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structural building models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, elevations, details, and construction drawings.
• Incorporate engineer markups, design revisions, and project-specific requirements into drawings and models.
• Assist with modeling structural elements, including concrete foundations, steel framing, concrete framing, masonry walls, and wood framing.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Identify and resolve drafting inconsistencies, modeling conflicts, and coordination issues.
• Maintain drawing standards, model organization, and document quality in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with construction document production, drawing revisions, and project deliverables.
• Support the preparation of details, schedules, and other technical documentation.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and communicate design questions to the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in drafting, design technology, or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience using Autodesk Revit in a structural engineering, architectural, or construction environment preferred.
• Familiarity with structural systems, building materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, design markups, and construction documents.
• Basic understanding of structural framing, foundations, connections, and load-bearing elements.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other design professionals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modeling steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.
• Familiarity with structural detailing and construction documentation standards.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection.
• Experience working with structural engineering teams on commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, or institutional projects.
