Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager - Revit to lead and execute Revit-driven design on packaged equipment projects. You will supervise drafters, mentor staff, and coordinate with engineering leadership to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality work on schedule and within budget.

You will create and check Revit models and drawings, interpret P&IDs and layouts, and help drive design interfaces across disciplines, while managing workload and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, controls, BIM, or packaged-equipment design experience including hands-on Revit.
• Experience supporting Lead Designers on complex projects with coordinated Revit models and drawings.
• At least 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating design/drafting personnel.
• Experience producing construction/manufacturing-level drawings, schedules, and controlled documentation.
• Ability to perform intermediate calculations for engineer review.

Responsibilities

• Support lead designers on moderate to complex packaged-equipment projects from turnover through release.
• Interpret P&IDs, process diagrams, specs, layouts, piping plans, and general arrangements.
• Create, modify, check, and approve Revit models and construction documents with coordinated views and schedules.
• Model and document systems (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, controls) with constructability in mind.
• Coordinate design interfaces with engineering, project management, and stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality.
• Mentor designers, manage workload, and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
