Job summary

ICON, based at the Austin campus, seeks a BIM Modeler to produce and maintain Revit models in line with ICON standards. You will collaborate with the BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager, handling content placement, basic family work, data entry, and QA/QC across multiple projects.

A developing Revit user with strong attention to detail will thrive in this structured, fast-paced BIM environment. You will support model coordination sessions, apply templates, and ensure data quality and consistency

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional BIM/Revit experience.
• Hands-on experience on AEC projects.
• Ability to follow BIM standards, templates and project setup procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, model accuracy, and data consistency.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain Revit models per ICON BIM standards.
• Place, configure and document model elements per project scope.
• Maintain model organization, worksets, and file hygiene.
• Perform routine model maintenance and address basic warnings.
• Place and configure standard Revit families from the ICON content library.
• Maintain file naming and organizational conventions for content.
• Input and maintain model data per shared parameter structures.
• Support schedule preparation and quantity extraction.
• Ensure information is complete ahead of milestone deliverables.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and apply coordinator direction.
• Export models for coordination reviews (NWC/IFC).
• Identify and elevate data quality issues for resolution.
