Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Revenue Staff Accountant to maintain general ledger revenue transactions and support integrity of financial statements. The role includes analytical reviews to drive financial improvement and monthly and quarterly revenue schedules.

Responsibilities cover journal entries, reconciliations, audits, budgeting collaboration, and pricing model development for contracts. CPA preferred; Bachelor's in accounting or finance required.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in financial accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly revenue journal entries.
• Reconcile revenue-related accounts and documents in the general ledger.
• Conduct analytical reviews of revenue against operational reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue audit schedules.
• Analyze data and prepare reports and variance analyses for management.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain internal controls around revenue.
