Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Revenue Staff Accountant to maintain general ledger transactions related to revenue and support financial statement integrity. You will perform monthly revenue journal entries, analyze revenue trends, and collaborate with sales and operations for budgeting and pricing actions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, and strong Excel/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred.
• One year of relevant accounting experience may substitute education.
• Experience in revenue accounting and financial reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly revenue journal entries by monthly deadlines.
• Reconcile and certify journals and accounts in Blackline as assigned.
• Analyze revenue in financial statements against operational reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue audit schedules.
• Develop pricing models for contracts and renewals.
• Assist with internal and external audits and controls around revenue.
• Lead pricing calls and provide summaries for management.
