The Division of Information Technology at Virginia Tech is seeking a Manager of Accounting, Revenue and Recovery to oversee the department's revenue and recovery activities. The role supervises a team of accountants and fiscal technicians and reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Business.

You will work with the financial leadership team to drive planning, reporting, and process improvements within a hybrid work arrangement, with occasional on-campus attendance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience supervising employees.
• Experience creating and managing accounting and financial processes and procedures.
• Experience designing, developing, and analyzing financial reports.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with productivity software including Microsoft Excel (advanced skills), Word, PowerPoint, and query tools such as Power BI and Power Query, or equivalent.
