Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. seeks a finance-minded leader to run the Americas order management and billing operation. You will interpret ASC 606, evaluate complex contracts, and lead a team to ensure timely, SOX-compliant revenue processes.

This role focuses on judgment and operational leadership, not traditional AR or collections, with opportunities to transform systems and controls across Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience spanning finance, revenue accounting, and/or order-to-cash operations.
• Genuine, hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 / revenue recognition and ability to discuss real contracts.
• Experience navigating SOX/internal controls, including audit support.
• People management experience—leading, coaching, and developing a team.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and making judgment calls without a playbook.
• Strong reconciliation and data-integrity mindset across contracts, billing, and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for Americas order management and billing execution.
• Own SLAs, KPIs, and workload planning across the team.
• Resolve complex order and billing escalations that require financial judgment.
• Drive accurate, timely, SOX-compliant execution through month-end, quarter-end, year-end close.
• Conduct transaction-level completeness and accuracy reviews.
• Identify and lead process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled efficiency initiatives.
