Genesys is seeking a finance‑minded leader to run Americas order management and billing operations. You will apply deep ASC 606 knowledge to complex contracts, lead a team, and ensure SOX‑compliant, timely close while collaborating with Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Sales and Legal.

The role emphasizes strong accounting judgment over traditional AR/billing tasks, with opportunity to shape frameworks and controls for scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of finance, revenue accounting, or order‑to‑cash experience.
• Hands‑on ASC 606 knowledge with contract‑level judgment on revenue timing.
• Experience supporting SOX/internal controls and audit processes.
• People management experience leading a team.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and making judgement calls.
• Strong reconciliation and data integrity across contracts, billing, and finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to resource for how contract terms and billing affect revenue under ASC 606.
• Evaluate complex or non‑standard contracts and determine revenue treatment.
• Partner with Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Sales and Legal to resolve high‑risk revenue scenarios.
• Own and strengthen SOX/internal controls across the order‑to‑billing process.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for Americas order management and billing execution.
• Drive accurate, timely, SOX‑compliant execution through month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.
