Job summary

The role focuses on revenue recognition, billing oversight, forecasting support, and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and internal controls. You will partner with operations and project teams to drive accurate reporting and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong expertise with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience in billing, forecasting, job costing, and revenue accounting in a project-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit support.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end revenue close process and ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4+ accounting professionals.
• Review customer billing, job cost budgets, and project billing schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Partner with operations and project teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Monitor project performance, costs, and contract activity to ensure proper revenue recognition and billing treatment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
