Louisiana Department of Revenue is seeking a Revenue Management Consultant in the Individual Tax Enforcement Division. The role emphasizes testing, system analysis, and cross-functional coordination to improve tax administration processes.

Qualifications include six years in relevant financial/administrative fields or related education with experience, and substitutions per policy. Appointments may be promotional or detail-based for current state employees.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, tax administration, tax policy or law, management analysis, or administrative services in a financial setting.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years in related financial duties.
• Bachelor's degree plus three years of related experience.
• Advanced degree or JD plus two years of related experience.
• CPA license or Louisiana license to practice law plus one year of related experience.
• Experience substitution: every 30 sem. hours equals one year, max 120 sem. hours.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex testing assignments and provide training on new procedures when needed.
• Work with Revenue Management Analyst and Revenue Tax Assistant Directors to detect system problems and determine if and when system changes are needed.
• Organize and coordinates work activities for testing and system-change validation to minimize rework and leverage cross-functional processes.
• Develop course material, analyze training requirements, and verify computer training consistency within division sections.
