Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Revenue Management Specialist to join our team in Gurgaon, India.

Job Summary

The Revenue Management Specialist’s primary purpose is to serve participating hotels and assist the Team Lead Revenue Management Middle East & Eurasia by monitoring compliance with Revenue Management Policies and Best Practices.

The specialist helps maximize room revenue and grow the RevPAR Index for each hotel. Key interactions include General Managers, Directors of Sales, Revenue Managers, Front Office Managers, and other stakeholders like Central Revenue Management Teams, management company reps, and Commercial Services Teams.

The responsibilities include building trust with hotel teams, developing appropriate Revenue Management strategies, and aligning with hotel teams on strategy and pricing. This involves audits, managing rates and rate codes in RMS, CRS, Lanyon, Property PMS, and connected channels.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss performance, revenue opportunities, audits, and promotions.
  2. Audit property setups for accuracy and proper distribution.
  3. Assist in rate and inventory changes, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
  4. Support complex properties in Revenue Management processes.
  5. Guide rate loading, RFPs, and promotions, and implement approved changes.
  6. Establish reports and maintain inventory/rate visibility across channels.

Complexity

Decision-making is routine with some cases requiring supervisor approval. The role involves routine tasks, standard policies, and project involvement to improve methods impacting hotel performance.

Scope/Financial Responsibility

The role impacts revenue by ensuring adherence to standards and policies, aiming to increase market share, revenue, customer loyalty, and brand awareness.

  • Effective communication, quick decision-making, stress management, multitasking, initiative, analytical skills, mathematical proficiency, composure under pressure, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, financial understanding, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to perform additional duties.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Economics, or at least 2 years of analytical experience in Revenue Management, Data Management, or Reservations.
  • Hospitality experience in EMEA markets.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, MS Office, PMS, CRS, RMS, online channels, BI tools, and industry reporting. Fluency in English is required.

Organizational Relationships

The specialist reports to the Team Lead Revenue Management Middle East & Eurasia.
