Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Manager, Revenue Integrity to optimize reimbursement across the health system. You will lead charge capture audits, educate staff on coding and billing regulations, and drive process improvements in the revenue cycle.

The role requires at least 5 years in revenue, billing or finance within healthcare, plus a Bachelor's in Finance, IT or related field. RN/Coding/Epic Resolute certification preferred; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in Revenue, Billing or Finance in healthcare.
• RN License, Coding Certification or Epic Resolute Certification preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage system charge capture and nurse audit teams on all projects and assignments.
• Lead an enhanced business practice model to support appropriate reimbursement and compliant charge capture processes.
• Improve systems net revenues, revenue compliance and cash collections by optimizing the revenue cycle.
• Collaborate with CDM manager to ensure coding and billing guidelines reflect contracts.
• Develop education programs for the healthcare system on revenue cycle issues.
• Perform charge capture audits and identify root causes of deficiencies.
• Provide coding expertise for compliance and reimbursement issues.
• Stay updated with federal, state, and third-party payer requirements.
