Connecticut Children's is seeking a Revenue Integrity Specialist to enhance revenue results by overseeing charge capture and coding processes across hospital and professional departments. You will train staff, monitor workflows, and collaborate with IT to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's or AS degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of professional billing experience, with 3+ years preferred.
• CPC or CCS certification within 1 year of hire; dual CPC/CCS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, NCCI Edits, and payer policies.

Responsibilities

• Participates in team huddles and supports professional coding staff.
• Monitors processes for accurate coding, billing and reimbursement.
• Evaluates workflows for coding software systems and coordinates training.
• Assists with Revenue Integrity goals and identifies revenue leakage.
• Provides guidance on documentation and charge capture for departments.
• Supports annual CPT updates and government guideline reviews.
