Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Revenue Integrity Manager to lead charge capture and revenue cycle improvements across the system. You will develop processes, oversee audits, and collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure accurate billing and compliance.

You will manage the Revenue Analyst team, work with Epic PB/HB and Craneware, and translate data into actionable steps across facilities. A strong background in billing, coding, and regulatory guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting/finance or healthcare/business administration.
• 10+ years of hospital/clinic revenue cycle experience focused on revenue integrity and compliance.
• 5+ years of hospital-based billing, coding, and charge capture experience. Proficient knowledge of charge master components CPT codes, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, GL and cost Centers.
• Charge capture, billing, or coding experience to include pharmacy, radiology, surgery/anesthesia, outpatient clinic, and inpatient hospitalization.
• Five or more years of Epic PB and HB experience
• Partner with Patient Financial Services, Finance, Compliance, Information Services, and other departments on revenue management initiatives and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue integrity charge capture activities and ensure accurate capture of chargeable procedures.
• Develop processes to ensure timely charge capture and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Analyze data and generate reports for audits and recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Conduct charge capture assessment activities and provide recommendations for CDM changes.
• Provide education to facilities and corporate staff on charge capture, billing and coding processes.
• Assist in software processes review and development of reports/tools (Craneware, EPIC).
• Lead audits focused on revenue cycle integrity and identify opportunities for error reduction.
• Monitor key revenue cycle performance indicators and report findings to leadership.
• Manage performance and productivity of the Revenue Analyst team.
