Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst to help ensure accurate revenue management through audits, coding reviews, and reimbursement processes. You’ll collaborate with Patient Financial Services, clinical departments, and Compliance to prevent issues before they affect payment.

Minimum three years in revenue integrity or hospital coding, a HIM-related bachelor’s, and knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10. EPIC HB/PB experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in revenue integrity in a hospital or healthcare setting or coding.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and hospital/medical billing.
• Understanding of EMR components and code data sets (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM/PCS).
• AHIMA/AAPC certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accurate revenue management.
• Investigate revenue-cycle issues and identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Patient Financial Services, clinical departments and Compliance.
• Support process improvements and education to strengthen revenue integrity.
