Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Professional Coding Integrity Specialist to review, enter and adjust charges for designated clinical service lines, ensuring accurate charge capture and compliant billing.

You will collaborate with RI teams to resolve edits, track revenue impact and recommend documentation improvements. The role requires coding certification, medical terminology knowledge and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health information, business or related field or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Certification in coding (CCA/CPC) within 9 months of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy & physiology.
• Experience with CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10 coding systems and modifiers.
• Ability to research and interpret federal/state billing regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office, EHR systems and internet resources.
• Strong organization, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, enter and modify charges to ensure accurate and compliant billing for designated clinical service lines.
• Assist with claim-scrubber edits and collaborate to resolve issues with RI/Clinical teams.
• Quantify revenue impact from charge corrections and process improvements.
• Identify documentation gaps and suggest system enhancements to improve charge capture.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coding regulations and updated IPPS/OPPS changes.
• Participate in system testing after upgrades or new implementations.
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay current on industry changes.
