Qualifications

• Familiar with HIPAA requirements and medical terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong time management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company fleet policy.
• Prior experience in medical billing or revenue cycle is a Plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and document all account activity.
• Process daily electronic billing and resolve corrections for clean reimbursement.
• Correct claims issues before submission and verify demographics and eligibility.
• Educate staff when documentation is insufficient for billing.
• Prepare and submit manual claims for non-electronic payers.
• Monitor error reports to identify trends and improve accuracy.
