Inspira Health Network is seeking a Billing Specialist to help ensure accurate patient encounters and charges are captured correctly in the billing system. You will work daily from assigned work queues to research issues, correct data, and ensure encounters are complete and ready for billing.

You will communicate with billing and clinical teams to minimize delays and denials, and you should have hospital billing experience with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Medical terminology experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital or professional billing experience.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review patient encounters and charges to ensure accurate billing.
• Research issues in assigned work queues and correct account data.
• Coordinate with billing and clinical teams to complete encounters for billing.
• Help reduce billing delays and errors through data correction and communication.
