Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, billing compliance, healthcare reimbursement, or financial analysis.
• Eight (8) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, billing compliance, healthcare reimbursement, or healthcare financial analysis in lieu of education and certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field in lieu of experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze high-impact billing edits, recurring revenue discrepancies, and coding/documentation risks to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Lead in-depth charge capture reviews; collaborate with departments to improve documentation and charging practices.
• Develop dashboards and reports highlighting denial trends, charge lag, missed charges, and net revenue performance.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for revenue improvement proposals, workflow redesigns, and operational strategies.
• Support payer and internal audits; prepare documentation and assist in corrective action planning.
• Collaborate with Compliance and CDM teams to monitor risks and implement billing corrections.
• Act as the designated analyst for high-volume or complex service lines with monitoring and recommendations.
• Present findings to operational leadership during quarterly reviews.
