University Health in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Revenue Cycle Training Specialist to lead new hire and refresher training for Corporate Professional Billing. You will deliver training content, coach staff, and monitor performance to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle (eligibility, scheduling, registration), strong presentation and communication skills, and proficiency with EHR systems such as Allscripts or Cerner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting with direct experience in eligibility verification, scheduling and registration.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle functions, including insurance eligibility, billing processes, claims, denials and account resolution.
• Familiarity with EHR and patient access systems (e.g., Allscripts, Cerner, or other applicable systems).
• Ability to analyze reports and identify training or performance trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The specialist is involved with quality assurance, including but not limited to new hire training as well as refresher classes and system training. This role is responsible for executing training initiatives, working system and performance reports, conducting one-on-one employee coaching, delivering training content, and rounding regularly with staff to ensure consistent adherence to best practices.
