Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Revenue Cycle Training & Audit Specialist to perform revenue cycle, training and auditing for patient, client, and third-party billing while supporting KPIs and company goals.

The role ensures adherence to policies, SOPs, regulatory standards, and payor requirements. It also designs training programs, conducts audits, and provides coaching to improve accuracy and efficiency in a day shift in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting or trainer role.
• Internal employees must have Quest ICD10 certification and external candidates must obtain within 6 months of start.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reviews processes to ensure adherence to policies, SOPs and payor requirements.
• Performs quality audits and prepares performance reports with action plans.
• Designs and delivers structured training programs for staff and new hires.
• Identifies root causes of errors and collaborates on workflow improvements.
• Completes administrative tasks supporting department functions.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and effective customer service.
