Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Customer Service Team Supervisor to coordinate charge submission, coding review, accounts receivable, authorizations, and related workflows. You will lead a team, monitor queues, and provide analyses to improve efficiency and cash flow.

You will educate physicians and staff on coding and reimbursement policies, collaborate with front office teams to verify patient information, and ensure compliant charge capture and timely billing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree with 1–3 years or a HS diploma with 3 years in a Call Center or Medical billing/Healthcare setting.
• At least 1 year of direct supervisory/leadership experience, preferably in a Call Center or Medical billing/Healthcare setting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for revenue cycle functions and monitor reports for timely charge submission and AR follow-up.
• Identify issues and suggest improvements; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Interact with providers, vendors, and front-end staff to verify insurance information and processes.
