Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in medical billing, AR, insurance.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10.
• Familiar with medical billing software.
• Excellent English grammar and spelling.
• 3 years in a similar role.
• Typing 35 wpm or higher on assessment.
• Strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of assigned billing staff.
• Monitor and resolve queues to ensure timely AR follow-up and financial clearance.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the team.
• Assist with training of new and existing staff.
• Work with Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, and Managed Care to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on workflow gaps, denial trends, and process improvements.
• Assist with patient and provider inquiries via phone, CRM, or email.
• Escalate issues to supervisor/manager as appropriate.
