Job summary

Boston Medical Center Health System is seeking a Revenue Cycle Business Partner II to provide strategic analytical support across the SBO, working closely with physician billing and hospital billing teams. You will oversee reconciliations, monitor workflows in Epic and related systems, and lead large projects to improve revenue capture.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, with 3–5 years in healthcare revenue cycle and familiarity with Epic/nThrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Healthcare related field preferred or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in healthcare auditing, coding, finance, revenue cycle management, or physician billing.
• Experience in Academic Medical Center setting preferred.
• Proficient with Epic and nThrive.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of monthly reconciliation of account placements with vendors and validation of invoice details.
• Collaboration with Professional Billing Office Managers, revenue cycle, third party vendor and finance teams.
• Monitor charging and billing processes to ensure proper capture and resolve issues.
• Track charge error trends and develop reports with recommendations for long-term resolution.
• Lead large, complex revenue cycle projects with defined timelines.
• Provide escalation support to SBO staff and stakeholders.
