• CAH business office experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Athena Practice Management and EHR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Answer patient billing questions and explain financial responsibility.
• Make first statement and collection calls on outstanding balances.
• Establish and maintain patient payment plans.
• Discuss payment options including Financial Assistance and Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist patients with Financial Assistance applications and documentation.
• Collect and process patient payments and reconcile deposits.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information in Athenahealth.
• Document all communications and account activity.
• Work claim worklists and resolve edits/denials.
• Research accounts to ensure balances are accurate before collections.
