Niobrara Community Hospital is seeking a Business Office Representative in Lusk, Wyoming. You will support the hospital revenue cycle including patient financial services, claims processing, follow-up and collections, while ensuring compliance with payer rules and HIPAA.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and experience with Athena Practice Management and EHR systems. Collaborative, patient-focused service is essential in this environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience is required, CAH business office experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Athena Practice Management and EHR systems, Excel, payer portals and ERA.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication with patients, staff, providers, and payers.

Responsabilités

• Answer patient billing questions and explain financial responsibility.
• Make initial statements and collection calls on outstanding balances.
• Establish and maintain patient payment plans.
• Discuss payment options including Financial Assistance and Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist patients with Financial Assistance applications and documentation.
• Collect and process patient payments and reconcile daily deposits.
