Amenity Health Services is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to oversee and maintain the payment posting process, ensuring accurate and timely application of payments to patient accounts. You will handle insurance and patient payments, reconciling batches and maintaining records in the EHR and billing systems.

Formación

• Associates degree or equivalent in accounting/finance or related field.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience with medical billing procedures and medical terminology.
• Great customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts, including insurance and patient payments and contractual adjustments.
• Bill therapy visits timely and accurately.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded in the EHR and billing systems.
• Perform reconciliation of payment batches and account balances.
• Identify discrepancies between posted payments and expected amounts.
• Maintain accurate and organized records and financial summaries.
• Provide insights on payment trends, discrepancies, and collections to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the payment posting workflow.

The Revenue Cycle Specialist is also responsible for ensuring accurate and timely application of payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
