Job summary

Duke University Health System’s Patient Revenue Management Office (PRMO) seeks a Business Process Consultant to advance revenue cycle performance. You will serve as the analytical lead, leveraging Epic and data tools to identify opportunities, run ROI analyses, and partner with operational leaders to optimize workflow and automation across departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Revenue Cycle analytics tools, business intelligence tools and statistical packages.
Experience with Revenue Cycle workflows including claims processing, denials management, insurance follow up, and net collection rate impacts and calculations.

Responsibilities

Identify revenue cycle improvement opportunities and perform ROI analyses.
Lead discussions and prioritize improvement opportunities with PRMO leadership.
Develop analytical models to forecast trends and support data validation.
Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to leaders.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams across revenue cycle and clinical departments.
