Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a revenue cycle team, monitor workflows and ensure quality assurance and process improvement.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, coordinating with departments, preparing metrics reports for management, and participating in hiring decisions. Requires 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of EPIC revenue cycle systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience in insurance revenue cycle functions (billing, registration, etc.).
• Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Systems (EPIC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
• Manages own assigned work queue(s).
• Monitors daily operations of the team, prioritizes daily work, resolves escalated issues, identifies trends and delays.
• Makes recommendations and input related to hiring, terminations, performance evaluations.
• Informs staff of policy and process updates and regulatory requirements.
• Gathers department metrics and prepares reports for management review.
• Assist in leading, developing and mentoring staff.
